A Good Opportunity

Over the last several weeks we have embraced the Project Approach which encourages students to use inquiry, ask questions, solve problems, make connections and share their findings with others. Students recently learned about the Peregrine Falcon and how scientists helped the animal overcome the effects of DDT. We discussed the food chain and how DDT impacted more than one animal. I think Ally helped them understand it today. She asked if she could share with the class what she had read. I love when they are willing to share their knowledge, their discoveries, and their understandings with each other. The video was broken into two clips due to size.
